CNMI Innovation Incubator Closes Second Cohort Applications on Sept. 11

Local startups across the Commonwealth have one final week to apply for the second cohort of the CNMI Innovation Incubator Program, a one-year initiative designed to help early-stage businesses strengthen their foundations, develop their capabilities, and pursue sustainable growth.

“Our first cohort showed us what’s possible when local entrepreneurs get real mentorship, resources, and a community behind them,” said Cherese Palacios, Program Manager of the CNMI Innovation Incubator. “We’re excited to welcome a new group of innovators into the program and continue building momentum for small businesses across the CNMI.”

The program provides selected participants with access to expert mentorship, workshops, training, business resources, networking opportunities, and funding opportunities throughout the year. Participants will also have opportunities to work directly with industry professionals, gain practical knowledge, and connect with fellow business owners as they navigate the challenges of building and growing their ventures.

The second cohort welcomes businesses in innovation, manufacturing and product development, agriculture and food innovation, technology, professional services, arts and culture, and hospitality and service industries.

Applications will be evaluated based on demand for the product or service, level of innovation, feasibility, clearly defined objectives, sustainability, and commitment to the success of the business.
