Registration Now Open for the 2026 Summer Youth Makers Program

Saipan, MP – Registration is now open for the CNMI Innovation Incubator’s inaugural Summer Youth Makers Program, a new initiative that connects youth ages 11–14 with local entrepreneurs, innovators, and creatives through an engaging, hands-on learning experience.

Taking place June 10–12, 2026, the program is designed to inspire creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship through interactive workshops led by members of the Innovation Incubator Program. Participants will learn by doing as they create fun projects, develop new skills, and gain firsthand insight into the work behind local businesses and creative ventures.

Students will learn directly from local Innovators, including Chance’s Boys, Bishuâ„¢ Marianas, SakuBloom, Krafting Littles, and Jordan Paradise. Each session will feature a unique hands-on activity, allowing participants to explore different fields while engaging with individuals who have transformed their passions and talents into successful businesses.

The Summer Youth Makers Program encourages students to expand their interests, strengthen their abilities, and connect with members of the local business and creative community in a fun and supportive environment.

“The years between childhood and adolescence are an important time for young people to discover new possibilities and what excites them,” said Cherese Palacios, Program Manager of the CNMI Innovation Incubator. “Through this program, students will have the opportunity to interact with talented individuals from our Incubator, ask questions, and gain exposure to experiences they may not encounter in a traditional classroom setting. We hope our students leave with a broader understanding of the opportunities around them and a greater sense of curiosity about the world.”

Participation in the Summer Youth Makers Program is completely free of charge. Space is limited to 10 students per session to ensure a high-quality learning experience. Parents and guardians are encouraged to register early, as spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration is now open through the program’s online registration form.
