(NMC) — Entrepreneurs and early-stage business owners in Saipan, Tinian, and Rota have until Friday, June 13, 2025, to apply for the CNMI Innovation Incubator Program. This initiative, launched by Northern Marianas College in partnership with the CNMI Small Business Development Center, aims to empower local startups with the tools and support needed to thrive in the Commonwealth’s unique business environment.
Funded by a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the CNMI Innovation Incubator offers participants access to expert mentorship, business resources, training opportunities, a collaborative support network, funding support, and a makerspace. While the program does not provide direct seed funding, it equips entrepreneurs with the guidance and infrastructure necessary to develop and scale their ventures.
The program is designed for startups that have been in operation for at least six months but no longer than five years — a deliberate focus to support young businesses still in their formative stages.
The application deadline is Friday, June 13, 2025. Eligible applicants must have been operating for at least six months and no more than five years. Required documents include proof of residency, a valid business license, a business plan, tax clearance (a receipt of processing from the Division of Revenue and Taxation is acceptable), and financial projections.
Completed applications may be emailed to cnmi.incubator@marianas.edu or submitted in person at Northern Marianas College’s Saipan campus, or the Rota and Tinian instructional sites.
